Neighborhood residents have raised safety concerns regarding the pedestrian crossing on Park Shore Drive at Old Trail Drive. In response, the Park Shore Association Board of Directors made these concerns known to city officials earlier this year and within days, city staff installed advanced warning signs on both the east and west bound lanes on Park Shore Drive.
Additionally, the Association board petitioned the city to install flashers at the crosswalk that can be manually triggered by a pedestrian who is crossing the street. Once again, city staff responded promptly and installed the flashers earlier this month.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our dedicated city staff members for their hard work and commitment to enhancing safety in our neighborhood.
