If you live or walk along Gulf Shore Blvd to the south of Venetian Village, you may have noticed a gaping hole in the seawall where it adjoined one of the dock areas. The hole appeared after Hurricane Ian, and gradually enlarged to the point where it became a significant hazard.

With no remedy in sight, our association made City officials aware of this dangerous situation.   From that outreach for assistance, it was very gratifying to see the speed of the City’s response. The repairs were quickly undertaken and completed with great results, restoring the integrity of the seawall.

These beautiful marina areas add so much to the enjoyment of our Park Shore Community. We would like to express our thanks to City Manager Jay Boodheshwar and his staff, for responding to our concerns.
