The Park Shore Association is excited to announce two upcoming city council candidate forums, designed to help residents connect with the candidates and learn about the key issues facing Park Shore and the City of Naples. These forums are valuable opportunities for community members to hear directly from those running for office and to hear responses to questions that matter most to our neighborhood.

Forum 1: Meet the Candidates

Join us on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Northern Trust Bank Building, 4001 Tamiami Trail, in the fourth floor community room. This forum, hosted by the Park Shore Association, will feature all eight registered candidates vying for three available four-year term positions on the city council. Residents will have the chance to learn about each candidate’s vision and priorities for Park Shore.

Forum 2: A Collaborative Community Event

The second forum will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Moorings Presbyterian Church, 791 Harbour Drive. This event is co-hosted with the Moorings Property Owners Association and the Gulf Shore Association of Condominiums and will focus on issues affecting both Park Shore and our neighboring communities. It’s another great chance to hear from the candidates and participate in meaningful dialogue.

Election Details: Important Voter Information

The upcoming city council election is scheduled for February 3, 2026. There are three seats available, each with a four-year term, and nine candidates have officially registered to run. This is a critical time for our community, and your involvement can make a real difference.

No Early Voting

There will be no early voting in this election. For this reason, anyone who will not be able to vote in person on February 3, 2026 must request a Vote-By-Mail ballot. The local League of Women Voters will attend the Park Shore Forum on January 8, 2026 to offer their voter services to assist voters in requesting a Vote-By-Mail ballot, checking their registration, and ensuring that all information is correct. The 2024 mayor race was decided by just 24 votes, so no one should feel that their vote does not matter.

We encourage all Park Shore residents and voters to attend these forums and get informed before casting your ballot. Community engagement is the key to a vibrant and thriving Park Shore. Don’t miss these important events—your participation helps shape the future of our neighborhood and our city.
